Applicable to all E36, E36 M3, Z3, S52 Z3M and S54 Z3M clusters. Non-coding plug, coding plug, and CAN Bus are all included.
Some of the repairs an E36 cluster might require include; replacement capacitors, eeprom chip reflow, reprogramming, VIN correction, mileage correction, gauge operation repair and more. Correcting poor repairs from other "Bavarian Restoration" services are also covered (unless severe). Core and donor clusters to make one good one are also accepted under the same labor rate.
Turn around time is usually 2 days. Unexpected repairs and part orders will add to that.
Please note: some clusters have damages that require entire PCB boards or other parts to be swapped out. The labor pricing remains the same for the entire job but the actual cost of a replacement parts will be applied to the total.
Only shipping charges are applied if a cluster cannot be repaired.
Customer is responsible for shipping the cluster to me and doing so safely. Price includes labor and return shipping only. Ship-to address will be emailed after checkout on the site.
It is my goal to return the cluster in the same original condition it was sent to me. If possible; stickers are removed in a way that they can be reapplied, internals are cleaned from any debris from age or the tear down process and then everything is cleaned again for reassembly. An enthusiast grade repair from an actual OCD owner of these cars.
